Age 15

Emmanuella was abandoned as a child, and taken to live at a ministry that eventually closed its doors. She was referred to our care when there was no other safe option for her. 

Emmanuella is in the 3rd grade at Carl Maria School in Bo, Southern Sierra Leone. Her favorite teacher at school is Aunty Mary. She loves to be creative and her favorite subject in school is literature.

She is the spunkiest girl in our entire group. Emmanuella is the biggest jokester and loves being a goofball with her friends. She's not afraid to be independent and confident with who she is.

Emmanuella is a Christian. John 3:16 is her favorite Bible verse. She loves the Cain and Abel story. According to her, the story has several moral lessons on friendship, leadership, life, and family. Her best friend in the church is Bindu K.

Emmanuella loves the color pink, skipping rope, and studying. She aspires to be a university professor someday. We are proud of her drive and thankful for her playful spirit and contagious joy!
